Not everyone has the space for a nest box of their very own, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t get involved.  Instead, why not sponsor a nest box for your local community group or organisation? 

For the cost of £100, I can provide: 

• A fully equipped nest box (including the first year of tubes)
• A release box for your cocoons to hatch from
• Planting advice for your location
• A site visit and install of your box*
• Full instructions on how to site and look after your nest box
• Access to my quarterly newsletter

How it works: 

• I will provide you with a fully equipped nest box including both cardboard and bamboo tubes, installed in the best area for your location
• I will provide you with appropriate planting advice to ensure your location has the right flowers in bloom to support your bees
• You collect filled tubes and store them safely until Autumn (cardboard tubes only)
• You send them to me to overwinter and screen for parasites
• I send your cocoons back to you in the Spring
• You pop them in your release box and enjoy them hatching!
